St Mark's New Ferry
Area |
Wirral Bible belt - St Mark's is one of half a dozen evangelical churches that neighbour each other on the Mersey-side of the Wirral. Only a mile or so from each other, the churches actively partner together in evangelism, training and fellowship. New Ferry is an area of urban deprivation, but undergoing significant re-development at the moment. |
Ministry |
St Mark's has a very long history of Evangelical ministry. Alongside the Vicar and full-time Women's and Children's worker, a MT would be involved in teaching the Bible to children and young people. As well as working among our church families, we have significant numbers of non-church children and young people attending our midweek Bible teaching groups. We have recently begun new groups for 10-13 year olds and teaching these young people the gospel would be a major focus. A MT would also support other ministries with practical helps, and (of course) attend the North West Partnership Training Scheme. |
Accommodation |
We will assist in finding suitable accommodation, and also provide a training grant to cover living costs. |
