With about a dozen of the UK’s top universities in our region, the North West is host to something approaching a quarter of a million students. The NWP’s Student Ministry Group exists to help the churches of our partnership to reach these young people with the life-changing news about Jesus Christ.

We believe that student ministry is vital, not because students are any more important than anyone else, but because they are exceptionally open to the gospel at this stage in their lives. Young people with active minds, free time and large circles of friends are more open to evangelism, Bible teaching and ministry training. We believe that student ministry is an essential foundation for gospel outreach in the North West, the UK and indeed throughout the world.

Help and Advice

If you’re aware that your church is on the doorstep of a higher education establishment and you would like help and advice regarding how to reach students or set up a student work, then members of the Student Ministry Group would be very willing to chat about that with you and offer what advice we can.
