Ministry Training Scheme

There is a huge need in our region for people able and eager to serve in full-time gospel ministry. We long to see more and more people committing themselves to this work, people from our own churches and congregations, and people from outside the region who share this desire. To help make this happen we are promoting ministry trainee scheme in our churches.

1. What is a ministry trainee?
2. Which churches are we talking about?
The North West partnership is made up of churches from the length and breadth of the region - from Carlisle to Knutsford, from Wirral to Manchester. The precise number of churches offering places to ministry trainees will vary from year to year, but there will be opportunities throughout the region.Churches involved are from different denominations; many are Anglican but others are Baptist, independent and FIEC affiliated. All, however, subscribe to the NWP doctrinal basis. They will be churches in varied settings, from city centre churches with a concern for student work, to suburban churches with big youth ministries. There are churches in inner city areas and others with a more rural feel, all offering a broad experience.
5. Who's involved/who's looking for apprentices?
