Youth and Children's Work
with the North West Partnership
NW Youthworks seeks to support, encourage and resource youth and children's ministries and ministers across the North West. We are committed to doing God's work God's way and so seek to put the Bible at the centre of all that we do.
Resources include:
- The Third Pig Training Day: A day for all those involved in teaching the Bible to children and young people. Themed around a particular issue, these day's include stimulating talks, practical seminars and the chance to meet up with others who are serving Christ amongst children and young people.
Next event: Saturday 27th November a special one off morning of teaching from Tim Hawkins. Venue - St John's Hartford.Next all day conference -Saturday 19th March 2011 - Sound: A day of challenging Bible teaching, fantastic music and genuine fellowship for young people aged 14-18. Come and bring your youth group to meet with others from all over the North West and we will provide them with a memorable day, and you with some great ideas to try in your own church.
Next event: Saturday 6th November 10.30am-4.30pm at Holy Trinity Platt, Manchester (check out the upcoming events page for further details) - Youth Worker Lunches: Regular weekday events for youth and children's workers from all over the North West. These lunches include a talk on a contemporary issue in youth and children's ministry and a chance to meet and share ideas and vision with others who work with young people. Our aim is that these times will inspire, encourage and equip you to continue proclaiming the gospel to the next generation.
